Overview

As the UX/UI and Visual Designer at SnapEngage you will work with our UX/UI Director, as well as with engineers, product owners, and marketing to create the next generation of online customer engagement tools. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong visual aesthetic, enjoy solving interaction design challenges in business software and validating design solutions via user testing and customer interviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with diverse engineering teams and company departments to design effective user experiences across a variety of platforms and audiences
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and deliver cohesive visual deliverables in support of the brand
  • Create user-journeys, wireframes and logical user flows for complex business requirements
  • Support the product development process with high-quality visual artifacts ( high-res mockups, style guides, UI assets, etc.)
  • Participate in user study preparation and execution, including participant recruitment, experimental design, facilitation, observation, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, ideally for enterprise web applications
  • Background in visual design principles and best practices, including visual hierarchy, typography, etc.
  • Familiarity with software application design conventions, technologies, development practices, etc.
  • Some knowledge of user research methods
  • An ever-evolving toolbox, which probably includes some of these: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Sketch, InVisionApp, etc.
  • Experience designing for web, ideally with some WordPress experience
  • Very strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven collaboration skills
  • Authorized to work in Berlin, Germany
